The kittens of Nanosmilus kurteni Martin, 1990, Oligocene, Nebraska (top) and the cubs of Paramachairodus (Based on P. transasiaticus Li & Spassov 2017) , Late Miocene. Hadjidimovo, Bulgaria (bottom) are about to taste their first meat - a rabbit Megalagus for the Nanosmilus and a Mesopithecus for the Paramachairodus family .
